A Marketing Content Creator is responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content that enhances brand awareness, drives traffic, and converts audiences across various digital platforms. This role blends creative storytelling with strategic insights, creating a cohesive narrative through written, visual, and multimedia assets.

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, versatile, and strategic Marketing Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for storytelling, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep understanding of digital trends. You will produce content for social media, blogs, websites, and email campaigns, working closely with our marketing team to build brand authority and support marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality, on-brand content most especially videos, images, captions and a few times blogs, articles and infographics for digital channels.
  • Strategy and Ideation: Brainstorm and develop fresh content ideas, storyboards, and campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
  • SEO Optimization: Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to ensure content ranks well and drives organic traffic.
  • Multimedia Production: Film and edit short-form videos (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts) and take or edit photographs as needed.
  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and distribute content across social networks, monitoring engagement and interacting with the community.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to company voice, tone, and visual style guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing, design, and product teams to create cohesive assets for campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor content performance metrics (engagement, traffic, conversion rates) and adjust strategies based on data.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience (2-4 years) as a content creator, copywriter, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published work.
  • Education:
    • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
    • Must have completed youth service or currently serving
    • None graduates (person not currently in the university) may be considered if the have all the Technical and Soft skills listed below.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Proficiency in image and video generation AI platforms.
    • Strong understanding of SEO principles.
    • Knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
    • Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with interpersonal skills
    • Strong research skills and curiosity about industry trends.
    • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Customer service orientation
    • Good negotiation skills.
    • Good relationship management skills.
    • Ability to self-motivate and manage self.
    • Good report writing skills.
    • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Other Qualifications:
    • MUST BE RESIDENT IN CALABAR.
    • MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ON SITE AND NOT OFF SITE OR REMOTELY.
    • Salary:
      • Graduate: N80,000 for the first three months of probation and then N100,000 from fourth month after probation.
      • Corper: N30,000 with one month of probation. If not qualified after first month, you will let go. No salary increases beyond N30,000 after probation.
